sustainable living
Nobody's perfect: An animation that highlights the seemingly small actions ordinary people can take to create positive change for the environment such as living sustainably, through an inquisitive blue character’s journey to discover what are all the little things that they can do to make a big difference.
I aimed to create a look reflective of nature to further promote the idea of sustainable living leading to a better environment. I used a minimal colour palette of complementary pastel pinks and blues to catchthe viewer’s eye. A lack of outlines and shadows were used to make a natural more imperfect look. Organic textures such as wood and stone were used for a boiling effect in the background and subtly on the characters to create interest and further emphasise the organic style of the animation.
